Problem: Softalicious could not install wordpress: says update to softalicous required
 Current User:  sonlight
 Primary Domain:  sonlight.gigapages.net
Description:

     I began the install procedure, selected options, and it began downloading. It then quit, displaying an error message saying that the free version of softalicious could not install wordpress.

    I should have a log file sent to my email address, but I don't see it yet.

    I am sure I can install wordpress another way if necessary, but I really don't need it since most pages I intend to host are static. If there is a bug or limitation, I would like to help you squash it or  document it.  Thank you.

Apologies. Looks like we were on a free version of Softaculous after a server move. I've refreshed our premium license. Hopefully it will work OK now. Can you try a WordPress installation again and let us know thanks.
