Is PUBG dead?

#1
By all accounts, PUBG is far from dead. While its player count has dropped significantly  , it's still far above H1Z1's low water mark. Over the last 30 days, more than 1 million people have played PUBG, indicating a still-robust community of players.
PUBG has even begun to grow again in the wake of the Vikendi launch, posting a player count increase . Whether that growth will stick is an open question, but regardless, it remains too early to call PUBG's time of death.
In short: PUBG is not dead. It's alive and (relatively) well.
Tell me your opinion about PUBG popularity.

Just like DOTA 2 I guess the hype of it around these times is over. Well that happens to a lot of online games. At least they still have the hardcore fans around. (also those who love FPS)

It depends on what you like in the game. Game like this will never die, because people are looking for specific features in the games.
H1Z1 is very fast, PubG, has different things to offer, MW: Warzone and Apex Legends has different things also.

Yeah pretty much, the game has been dead for a while. Though in non-western countries the game is still quite popular there but not as much as it used to be. When fortnite came out it losts many players since Fortnite conqured the gaming scene for a decent amount of time.
