How to manage your Word press on your local PC/ drive

#1
I tend to work on my WP site on my local my site and not on my website directly so that I could work on the changes and experiment with whatever plugins that I wanted too and when I am satisfied with the result. I would then backup the WP file and migrate to my website to go live. In this way, I could take all the time I want to make the changes without affecting the live website.

To work on your local PC, you would need to install Bitnami.

You could watch the below Youtube video for instructions.

TurnKey Linux is a solid option for testing Word Press sites. Basically download the ISO and run the install on a virtual machine or any older PC you have running around. It only needs 512MB of RAM to run. TurnKey Linux WordPress is a reasonable size ISO and won't take forever to download.  There are a lot of other prepackaged servers like Joomla, Drupal, Ruby on Rails, PHPBB, NAS, etc. Setup is a lot simpler than installing LAMP stack then setting up MySQL and installing wordpress. I tried to follow a tutorial for a 10 minute Word Press install turned into about an hour. I kept getting a lot of errors and finally just used a prepackaged distro.

I have been working with wordpress for quite a while and have noticed when installing elementor theme it doesn't work on some pcs as it load for quite a while so the secret behind it is you go to elementor plugin and go to advance and enable the switch then try loading elementor again it works 100%

I use Laragon for developing WordPress websites locally. It has many features that come handy while developing WordPress websites. Moreover, Laragon also has an environment to build PHP projects.
