I have a website in a non-English language that receives slightly more clicks from Mobile compared to Desktop according to Google Search Console. A large portion of this website has been translated into English on a different domain but there I get almost all clicks from Desktop. I wonder if this is the norm for a global website or if it might have something to do with the fact that it hasn't switched to "mobile-first indexing" yet?
Most of my visitors come from English speaking countries with the US on top.
I think it's relatively mobile friendly already. My non-English site, which is pretty much the same but older and with more pages, has almost all pages listed as mobile-friendly. The English site has many pages listed as mobile-friendly but far from all. I suspect it's just a matter of time.
Now I come to think of something. Only a few pages rank well so far and those pages are probably subjects that are more likely to be searched for on Desktop. This seems to be the case when comparing with the equivalent pages on my non-English site.
