Intel vs AMD

Why do you prefer AMD over Intel?

Intel because its very reliable, but amd have one good advantage - price, amd more cheaper than intel, so its for you to deciede - price or reliability
Well, I prefer using AMD as I am using it since 3 years and it's way better than Intel processors compared to the price. Also as far as I know it has the most highest clockspeed in Guinness world record.

I have used a computer with an Intel processor and I've never experienced a disturbance :)
just shifted from red to blue team.....fx8350 to i7-8700k.....then, i think i will stay with blue team..hahaha, this because compatibility of application such as android studio stock virtualization (got third party but prefer stock emulator), performance of technical analysis, and the i7 cpu is non-pin form amd fx8350 form factor using pins connection to m/b socket, always need to be super careful when dealing with it. maybe for graphic card, i will choose red team...due to price/performance factor. never dealing with ryzen...maybe in future.
I've got all Intel CPUs at the moment, but if I buy any more at the current moment I would probably go for a Ryzen based pc, I could fill up all 16 threads pretty easily haha
I have used AMD for over a decade. The primary reason is its value for money, especially in the mid range product line. Recently I am considering to replace the computer. When comparing cpu from AMD and Intel with closed performance, I found the price difference is no longer that big. I doubt AMD lost its price performance edge already.
in CPU , ofcource intel is better than AMD cause of the power of lifetime and uptime but AMD cpus is just for gaming and doesn't have any point in uptime for several days processing.

I prefer AMD. They are less expensive and faster than the Intel at same speed. I use Ryzen 3 in my PC.
When it comes to pricing AMD is definitely cheaper than Intel. If performance is the most relevant criteria, there is still the question who is doing what with it. That being said, I guess most users cannot take advantage of the better Intel performance. So why would should someone pay more when they don't get the results for that? On the other side, most people buy a ready made computer. For whatever reason, looking at the prices, the computers are very close to each other. I don't really understand why because AMD computers could be sold way better when they would be cheaper. The lower prices of the processors doesn't really affect the price for the computer. As a consequence, to take advantage of the lower prices of AMD you would have to build your own computer...

Intel is more using for perfomance in long uptime but AMD is more for Speed in short uptime!
I have never used AMD's products, but they have excellent performance on a video card, but the AMD processor ... oh noo thank you i select Intel 7 ;)
I have always used Intel, but AMD is chaper, so I bought a AMD ryzen 1700 for 150€  this year.
I the near future I will buy ryzen 3700x or 3900x.
The Answer is Very Simple here.
Intel are for those who needs a processor for Work which requires lot of CPU Power and Energy, Note here, Only CPU Power not GPU. Intel Chips are Efficient in Doing CPU Based Works. Intel Designs Power Efficient Chips but Intel Chips do not perform well in Photo/Video Editing and Rendering, basically Intel Chips are not know for GPU Works they do not perform well for Users who do work which require a lot of Graphics Power.
Now, Let's talk about AMD CHIPS. AMD chips are well in Both CPU and GPU. But Those chips are not Power Efficient, they are manufactured at 28 or 32 nm. AMD are very popular for their Graphics which I feel is very True. AMD graphics technology is far better than that of Intel's. So if one need processor mainly for Work which requires GPU and CPU Power then AMD is the best choice. I feel CPU and GPU both performs very well on AMD Chips. Video rendering and editing and all the GPU related work will done Very fast on AMD and yes not to forget Games.
Now, Intel's chips are expensive and AMD chips are Cheaper in price. AMD provides very good high powerful chips with strong GPU and CPU in a good price.
But Remember, If you need a processor for mainly work which requires CPU Power then definitely go for Intel Chips.
