What concerns me is that Google, Yahoo and Hotmail are all asking for cell phone numbers in order to register accounts. So just imagine how powerful they are getting and with the techniques you've just mentioned with crawling everything, how every invasive, and also vulnerable they will be making us, particularly when one gets mistaken IDs etc and they are so awesomely BIG and we so awesomely small that it is VERY difficult to sort it out. Particularly tracking wise. I'll probably have to buy a cell phone one of these days specially for opening internet accounts. As they like to go a step further too with SMS verifications. So a cell number is not enough, it has to be a verifiable cell number.
The Banks are authenticating their customers right down to connecting them electronically like an umbilical cord, the utility companies are doing that, and now the Internet too.
