any open source API for SMS sending?

can anyone give idea about any server that can give API for open source use of sending and receiving SMS.

I once tried to find one for myself and didn't luck on that. The API is phone server dependent, in other words you need to Google the phone service you are receiving for a solution from them. You won't find it in a discussion forum outside your country.

i think that i can get help from someone like currently i m using twilio rest API, likewise, that's it

I think you can buy a virtual phone and then do something with this, or ask google dev team (they helped me for a project)

I did not try Jasmin sms, but well it look interesting.

I recommend you to look for cheap and good solutions for SMS Gateways, you can be more sure the SMS delivery.
