Tonight, while I was being totally frustrated by GIMP in an attempt to figure out how to anti-alias images, happened at a Website with some really great looking themes for myBB, phpBB and SMF forums.

These are two that I thought looked very interesting:

I think I've tried reksio before (the bottom one), and it had some challenges with CSS. But I should try the mybb-pro (top one). What I particularly like about it is that it isn't spread over the whole of the horizontal width. Wonder how responsive in design it would be.

Mybb-pro's description says it's fixed width, so it's probably not responsive by default. Other than that it looks nice and professional though.

Aha. Can't be good then. But does look nice though. I'll still try it out, but may explore the Web for other themes as well.

I'd probably explore the Web for other themes just to be a little more happy with your decision. Personally I like the design though.

I find awesomestyles boring, because there are not any good themes to use.

For a good forum script like mybb, its hard to believe that there is not a lot of good skins or styles..

Thanks Binil. That's an excellent one. I've just done a search and strangely enough there are still many more creative phpBB themes compared with myBB. I haven't found any better than the two I've listed so far.

I like the mybb pro theme genesis shared and the one binil shared as well. Those are pretty awesome! When I was playing with myBB, I found really nice ones in their official community.

I like the classic myBB style that comes with the script. I basically think all one needs is to put on a logo and I'm happy with that. I'm not in favour of fancy designs at all. One can't please all of the users, some like dark colours, others light. I'd say the blue on white is just right.
