For web development I would definitely go for Google Chrome. 
Naturally Edge isn't a option. But I did try Mozilla's Firefox as well. It is not a bad browser to develop your website. It has enough tools to get you navigated to the right CSS or HTML rules, also a element selector. But! Firefox does act up many times meaning elements don't display right, missing options for forced field states and places tools a bit more unlogical.
Chrome is in my eyes the best browser to start with when developping a website. Especially when your new. It can help you find the code that you want find easily with the given tools and more stable and logical then Firefox presents almost the same options.
