Buy multiple extension domains to beat the competition

When you found your perfect domain name it can be handy to buy multible domain extensions to prevent getting to much competition on that name.
So, don't only get the .COM, but also .ORG, .NET, .INFO, .NL and .BE for example.

Do you have a domain where you bought multible extensions for?

That's an excellent idea. I also think one should get extra domains for a possible mistake in the spelling of the domain name. I'm sure your BIG NAME corporations must be doing it. Allowing for typographical errors in the name.

I don't feel that its a good idea to buy multiple extensions
Once you buy a .com, you automatically beat competition from other extensions.

Personally, i feel that .net and .org extensions do deserve some respect, but rest of them just suck. So never waste your money in .mobi .info .bla bla bla extensions.
