My chrome says it ran out of memory. Any Idea How can I get the issue fixed? I really need it as I have a lot of bookmarks in there.

No tweaks or plugins will help on that. It can reduce the problem in the short term but it will always return since the major issue is the browser itself.

What do you need to do on chrome that other browsers can't do?

I've been using Firefox all of the time with Chrome only when I need to do deep searches, or as an alternative from time to time. I'm a great supporter of Firefox because it's not commercial, and it's also very good. I trust it more. However, I'm not sure whether it's my laptop, but all of a sudden for the last two weeks, Firefox intermittently loads a blank page instead of the Google home page. If I click on the home button in the menu, then it fixes the blank page and brings me to Google, however I'm wondering what's causing the problem. I don't have the same issue with Chrome on the laptop though. Just Firefox.

BTW I've got no memory issues with either of the two browsers. Firefox is my preferred browser, but Chrome also has its uses from time to time. I do have a laptop i7 however with 8GB RAM and it is very fast. A Toshiba Ultrabook.
