We`re sorry to report that CleanPanel has been removed as the cPanel theme.

We have a premium CleanPanel license, but recently last few weeks) the CleanPanel licensing server has been going down at frequent times, which has caused problems with some of our members trying to log into their Cpanel control panel.

Our hosted users will still be able to select CleanPanel from your themes menu in cPanel, if you have any problems please open a support request.

Just a note that DJB has found a new cpanel theme:
paper_lantern

Warning: A member has just come up with issues with this theme so suggest no one uses it until DJB has had a look at it.

Is it safe to try it? I'd hate to make more work for you guys resetting users's panels. A little gun shy after the clean panel problem.

I'll go with iG's suggestion. Please don't try it for now. I'm trying to get Peter's back to X3 from the new theme and it has come up with a package configuration issue. Once that has been solved and we know it's safe, and you can get back to it easy, we'll let you know.

For now I'm missing Legacy File Manager in it too. So those using Legacy File Manager won't be able to find it in the new theme.

How difficult would it be to, at least temporarily, remove CleanPanel from the list of choices? If possible, it might save you guys some work until/if things get worked out. Would the choice just revert to a default if someone used it and it was no longer available?

The thing is that there were some problems with CleanPanel that made users banned and block from using cPanel and thats why CleanPanel got removed. cPanel default theme is more nicer than CleanPanel though.

I don't really mind any of the themes at all. I wonder how many of the options are used by every one. But I'm happy with what is on offer as long as it works without any hazzle.
