I've found it to be more frustrating than actually time consuming. I normally end up waiting an extra 2 seconds for page to load, which isn't all that much. It just gets really annoying.

Also there's no such thing as HD YouTube, Vimeo, or Netflix for me.

I will give mine speed test when i get back home from my college. All i would say that i have an amazing internet worth 125mb/s, soon getting upgraded to 150 mb/s virgin media all the way!, meanwhile i will post a speedtest from my college.

Not expensive at all, it is about 30 pounds a month Virgin Media is the best internet provider in the UK.

That's a fantastic deal ig. It's about half of what I get charged in the UAE for 8mb. Doesn't even feel that fast. OK, let me check and see how much it is tonight:

Darn! There is something wrong here. Wonder whether they have put me on a higher speed and no doubt I'm going to get a surprise on what I'm being charged. Total daylight robbery! Doesn't feel this fast even by the wildest imagination.

I used to have higher speed when I lived at another place while I was studying but I don't notice that much of a difference to be honest. It's fast enough for my needs.
