Crossing red traffic light .... happened to you yet?

So today I crossed a red traffic light. Hopefully there was not a photo taken of this deed. But for good reason. Something was acting up with the traffic light. It just did not want to change from red to green. It was quite a busy road and I had quite a long line-up of cars behind me, and there were two lanes, turning into a major three-lane road, so me and the guy to my left looked right, left, right again, when things were clear went for it.

Not often that I cross a red traffic light. Kind off a liberating feeling of course as well. Only part that won't be good if a camera went off somewhere, but they'd usually send a SMS message, and my cell phone hasn't received any.

Any one else here who occasionally comes across a traffic situation like this, where one is forced to break a rule?

Has happened to me once or twice. Just didn't realize there were traffic lights as they just seemed to be in the wrong spot at the time.

I do that 4 times a day. 2 times when I go to work and 2 times when I return.

Lol, they are red almost all of the time. I am not going to wait for ever, those roads aren't that busy.

I'd be doing more of that too, except there are cameras around here. What I heard a little while after the above had happened to me was that if one gets to a traffic light like that, where something is up with it, one puts one's hazards lights on, then go. Hazard lights apparently covers almost any kind of eventuality.

I cross red traffic lights all the time on foot! Still have to get a car one day. When my ship comes in.
