I think that is a good movie, specialy if you see it with childrens, and the music is fine.

I just laught in many opportunities, specially with the snow-man.

Ooohhh... I love Frozen! :) It brings out the child in me (Disney fan forever). I'm a big Broadway fan too so Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff were my main reasons for watching the film.

I personally believe it appeals to all ages. It's got a lot of catchy songs that will leave you singing in the days to come.

We took our kids to see this in the theater when it first came out. My kids and wife really enjoyed it. Myself, I thought it was just ok. The music was much better than most animated movies these days. The characters were well thought out. Plot was very good. I would say it is one of Disney's better films. It just didn't do anything for me.

Excellent music has long been a Disney hallmark and Frozen is no exception. The plot is good, the animation and backgrounds are beautiful, but the music is wonderful.

I really enjoyed it when I first watched it, which was when it came out so a while ago. xP The music was really good and the characters were really good as well.

Unfortunately, the hype may have ruined it a bit for me. @_@ I mean walking into homeroom every morning to hear "do you wanna build a snowman?" got old really fast. ;w;

Lion king was a lo better than this in my opinion. I don't like how people randomly switch between good and bad just for a cheap and unnecessary twist. Plus random powers, random complications,... essentially the plot is not really believable even by its fantasy standards. The only things going for this movie are the music and animation/effects.

IMO people are like that in real life, a lot of people mask their true intentions even without meaning to.

What do you mean by random powers? I'm only aware of all the snow/ice related deal.

Dress making
Life creation
cloud making
teleportation
:dodgy:

Hmmm, took some effort to remember where that comes up, lol
I just haven't remembered teleportation just yet.

I see what you mean. They try to relate it to her original power, but if you really think about it it doesn't make sense. :nea:

So... Frozen.. I am sure all of you have heard about this disney movie. This is one of my all time favorite Disney movies. And now they will be releasing a short film that will hit theaters on March 13, before the live action movie for "Cinderella", called "Frozen Fever".

They released a new featurette today, if you haven't seen it yet, it's below:

Can't wait.

Oh, I didn't know they were making a sequel short! I couldn't really get into the movie, but some of my friends really love it. I bet this will make them really happy! The movie was super popular, so I wonder if Disney will eventually do a full-length sequel film?

I've never seen the Disney movie, nor do I plan on watching it. I'm not too big of a fan of musicals, even though I absolutely love some Disney movies.

From what I've read they are just leaving it at that, with the short film being the last thing frozen related. It also happened with Tangled and tangled ever after. :)

@"tangledmemories" Oh, I didn't know this was a pattern with them. I haven't seen Tangled, but now that I think about it, making a sequel short, and leaving it at that is probably better than the times they made all those direct-to-video sequel films, one after the other, of their classic works.

Yeah... and the first film is always better than the sequel. At least in most cases. Sequels usually loose that magic the original had...
