Do someone use another messenger than WhatsApp?

I use discord because it's free,I can crate servers and invite my friends to do a group,sound is very good,you can create on a server chanels like teamspeak for voice and text.You can add groups with roles(permissions) on the server.

There are so many these days. Telegram, facebook messenger, wechat...

I usually use Facebook Messanger or iMessage! I have used Google Hangouts and it's alright! I have further, used WhatsApp and I'm not a fan of it... I found it confusing, I hated how you had to have your phone near you to use the Mac app, and I was aways having issues with sending messages.

I use Hangouts sometimes, and IRC. But other than that, WhatsApp is my most used messenger. Everyone is likely to be on WhatsApp, and no other messenger really beats it. The annoying thing about it is the necessity of linking a phone number for me, there should be an e-mail alternative.

I use whatsapp mostly but i also use kik and fb messenger. I use Whatsapp since nearly everyone else i know is using it but if i dont have someones phone number or if they dont use it then i will use kik or fb messenger to talk to them. I'd say whatsapp the best out of those three though since it has so many features which just imrpove user experience, for example i can mute my group chats so that my phone doesnt vibrate every 5 seconds and only when one person messages me.
I personally use Google Hangouts and Slack.
Hangouts: Well at least it's integrated with Gmail and Google+. The newer Allo and Duo are letdowns.
Slack: Very solid platform for team communication, with all the functions you would expect from a messenger but way less distraction.

Telegram is by far the best messenger you can get. Sadly people here in Italy prefer Whatsapp, or rather, they don't even know the existence of Telegram... so I can't use it to chat with my friends. However I am trying to convince everyone to make a Telegram account, and I think I have brought at least 6 or 7 friends of mine on Telegram... I hope the others will get convinced too!
Oh, since you discuss about it... Facebook Messenger is very bad - I'd use some very bad word to describe it, but I think maybe I'll get a hold of myself. It just sucks RAM out of your phone, it is slow, and ugly. Seriously. If you can, avoid installing it.

I use several messengers since my friends and workmates use so many different apps for this. FB messenger, WhatsAPP, Viber, Line, Skype etc. Also have Signal and Telegram but don't use those often. The main reason I have started using a smart phone is because everyone I know started telling me to install this and that app for staying connected and commiunicate. So that's what I do now. Using a S4 for those chat apps.

I used Telegram, but no one of my friends used it again, so i didnt use it too again. Actually, im in a project and we use HipChat. It is perfect for teams! You should try it ASAP.
