Do you prefer iphone or Android?

Ok, this topic has been discussed on multiple forums, blogs and surveys so I thought it would be a good idea to discuss it here as well.

I am personally an iphone fan boy. Although most people think that iphone is nothing but a show off (and the same is believed regarding other apple products) but I feel that iphone is more user friendly, more stylish, has better touch, display and longer lasting battery.

Feel free to share your opinion.

A friend of mine who has iphone pointed out something that was different - in favour of arguing for iphone. He says once he was in Apple with the Macbook Pro laptop as well, it just all work together perfectly. Like for example a month or more ago his iphone got stolen, and he had it synchronized with his Macbook Pro. When he got a new iphone, and loaded it from his Macbook Pro, it was as though he never had lost his phone. Everything worked EXACTLY as before. All of the Apple products seem to be well integrated with one another, more so than any of Windows with all of its multiple versions of a tower of Babel voices. There is no cohesion there. And plenty of waste of money when one is forced to migrate from one version of anything to another.

In my opinion Android ofcourse, iphone is too locked down OS, android offers superior customizibility like custom roms, custom kernels, etc.

Yeah You are right, but Android, IOS and Mac OS X are both on Unix. As you said iPhone is locked down which means that you can't access the system files, pretty stupid but thats the Apple.

Iphone is the best, I don't want an Android phone in my life again, I have got a Windows 8 phone from my work which sucks too.

iPhones are cool if you like it simple and dont want to change much with the software unless you jailbreak.

Android is the operating system that powers over 1 billion smartphones and tablets. Since these devices make our lives so sweet, each Android version is named after a dessert: Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Jelly Bean. As everybody finds it difficult to stay away from chocolate we decided to name the next version of Android after one of our favorite chocolate treats, Kitkat

I've tried both. Must say I prefer iphone. I like it's size as it's just right for me, not too big nor too small and fits just right into the palm of my hand. I may get a Samsung one of these days as well though.

People are saying Samsung, why not pick a Sony smartphone? They also look amazing and are good like Samsungs. If i had money then I would switch to an android, because its just better.

Good suggestion ig. I haven't done any research yet of sony but can imagine the quality of the screen will be excellent. I probably should make some good investigations first before I pick an android phone.
