I would spend the money on the domain if I were you, and then, I would find a free hosting provider. You could forward your domain to your free webhost site. If you want your domain name to stay at the top of the page though when you forward it to your free webhost site, just make sure to choose the mask domain option when you forward your website.

I hope this helps,

True. you should buy a domain, its rather cheap tho. If the site is somewhat important to you, why not spend a little to get the domain name you always wanted.

In the United States of America most ISPs block the cu.cc TLD. I am sure that this is due to the spamming and other security related issues.Even the .tk are being blocked.

What I would do is either buy a domain, or ask for a sub domain. You can get sub domains at trusted sites, such as No-IP or Dyn-DNS. I am sure there are other places that you are able to do this as well.

I think that if it is a scam, but already for some time, these domains are usually use them to send spam, to my I get some emails to my Inbox spam with tld. cu.cc / .cc / .hu /. ru... If you create a website it is best to buy your own domain name and avoid using free tld domains, that finally and after free domains are only problems.

I recommend you to try Freenom, I've been using some free domains and the only restriction is about inactivity.
