Email issues

Hi Guys, username: troxet

I have problems with receiving email on my web hosting, however I can send emails out no problem.

The domain is: tanukiux.design that is connected with google firebase.

@"GigaGreg" Is the domain on your VPS, your business or shared hosting account?
Which e-mail service are you using? Squirrel or Roundcube etc?

I've found this tutorial for adding a domain to Google Firebase. Can you check through all of the steps and see whether that will help you?

I could just do that, but with the domain host that I am using, the email is $21 a month, so I'm nowhere.

My problem is that even though my domain is connected to gigarank I'm not receiving any emails because mx record is linked to the firebase hosting, not our email server.

OK I get it now. Is it possible for you to unlink the firebase hosting - or did the domain host force you to use Firevase? Would it help if you transferred your domain to a different host?

I can do either really, however it cost $24 a year to setup email on my domain registrar but my budget is thight, however it looks like I have no choice.

Unlinked my domain from gigarocket, now waiting for google to accept my domain.

Am curious Greg. Is Google firebase better for SEO? What is the attraction for having it?

There is no attraction, I have to use firebase because my website www.tanukiux.design is written in ReactJs, which requires project repository and Google Firebase was the easiest one to get, also gives you free ssl certificate.
