Before i start my campaign and decide what to use first, one thing i know that both are meant for different purposes. Has anyone used both of these promotions and have a summary of their metrics?

It depend from the source used for the campains. If you want to sell something or if you want to promote a business or a content. Facebook campains are goods to try with a coupon of 20$ to try it. Ad word gives you the possibility to invert 25$ for an ads campain that's the value is 75$

I think Google Adwords better than Facebook Ads. Beacuse Facebook Ads only show on Facebook (and Facebook's sites). But Google Ads show on very much site.

If you have news blog/site, you should use Facebook Ads. Beacuse, Facebook users more active.

Its actually depends on where you want to promote your product on the global market. At first you have to target your audience, their age or interests. And then you should go for marketing. I recommend using facebook ads or YouTube ads which will definitely bring more customers who actually need your product.

Google Ads or Google Adwords is a real headache. It's find if you have a simple product or service website. But if you have an affiliate website or try to sell affiliate product then it's a hell. They don't like it and rarely allow it. Also their click prices are insane. I'm not saying Facebook Ads are perfect. But It's cheaper and if you know how to use it then you will able to use it for anything. But I heard Facebook is going to add 1000 more people to review ads become publish.

Advertising depends on Marketing and marketing depends on the customers that you wanna target this might be their gender, age, interests etc. all in on I suggest using post promotions on facebook and instagram for quick marketing.

I lean more towards Google Adwords cause I used that often. Facebook Ads might be better for Things that are Hipp and up to date.

Anyone here that compared Costs in the long run?

I thought to add something to this. last year I had decided to use Facebook ads promo credits I received. I use it on one of my Facebook pages but didn't work. I got bunch of impression and clicks but not a single Like. So when I ran out of free credits I disabled to campaign. Then couple of days later I have started receiving this massage saying I have to pay $2 for ads. I couldn't understand how since I stopped ads. So after days research I learned just stopping ads is not enough. There re several other things you need to do, which they don't mention anymore. Plus their support is crap. I know there are lots of people who use facebook ads but if you are a newbie then very careful with what you are doing. If you leave your credit card details you will get milked.

Just about what I'd have expected of Facebook @xdude. I remember when I decided to try the web page feature - a few years back - for the first time. And all of the Googling I had to do to make sense of it. I'm sure if I tried again, I'd have to do more research. Nothing is intuitive with Facebook. It's clumsy, doesn't always make sense, and they keep on removing things or moving things somewhere else. It's a frustrating experience for me to use Facebook for business purpose.

if I have to choose between facebook ads and adwords it is certain that I will choose adwords, because when a visitor searches for what he wants with the help of google search they will find articles that match their purpose, there Google will display relevant ads so that visitors will most likely interested in advertising promotions that are aired, on the other hand google users have the most users among others so this option is a special choice if you want to use advertising services, I think this is the best option to be able to get visitors interested in the ads that we make it.

The choice between Google Ads or Facebook Ads depends from what you want to do.
In fact if you need that the users need to search you, this is Google... if you want 'search' or 'impress' people you can use Facebook.. It's a little bit different but more depends from what you are searching to do...

Its like comparing apples and oranges. Both can be extremely effective depending on what your marketing objectives are. We all know the platforms the serve the internet are always evolving and changing to certain degrees and Google Ads and Facebook Ads are no exception! Facebook ads are evolving much more than Google Ads as things develop such as Cambridge Analytica scandal, mandates from this certainly affect how you can use Facebook ads and aspects of reach. Basically as mention in the above post the Google Ads are centered to a users search intent and Facebook ads are centered to a users interests. One of the main differences for Facebook ads is in the way of advertising is user experience dictates the quality of the ads you use on their platform. People use Facebook to be social and be entertained and not to be sold to, so making advertisements based on user interests that don't really seem to advertisements are the prime strategy. Whereas Google ads you have a very small amount of space and text to capture peoples attention and acquire their engagement when "they are searching" for something that your ad would be relevant for. Both are extremely effective for the right marketing objectives with a slant going towards Facebook on really good ROI depending how you configure the audience interests targeting, the objective and the ad itself. My 2 cents.
