I thought we had adopted the G of Gigalicous logo for the favicon. What a minute, it is there:

http://www.gigalicous.com/forum/

When one goes a level deeper then it turns into the little house:

Did this version of our favicon for making one with a transparent background:

favicon.ico

I did it at this Website. Maybe some more tweaking is necessary for a sharper definition and contrast:
http://www.favicon.cc/

to make favicon with ransparent background, make gif or png image with ransparent background save as favicon.gif or favicon.png then rename the ext to .ico
this trick work on my website

If you check Ogah, I did make it in a transparent colour - the favicon I posted is transparent. It just needs to be uploaded. :p

Thanks for mentioning this site. It looks a little better than a couple of others that I've tried.
It was a happy fluke HR. I'm short of time right now but am planning to use it over the weekend. This Website has just made it easy for me to create a Favicon.

Its transparant allright. I only see a transparant square.

If the Favicon is not listing on your browser are you using an older release that needs an update? There are several flavors to choose from my wife for one loves Google Chrome so naturally the fact this is the dominant of choice on Android she is happily content that all her bookmarks and data is synced. I for one am content with Internet Explorer 11 on our Windows 8 Asus Laptop. So it's working here on both. Are you by chance using Netscape which was decommissioned or Mosaic which is ancient?

Does everyone who uses Firefox have the favicon? I am using Firefox and I cannot see the favicon. I am not sure how it works but for some reason I have only an icon that represents the state of the website. Sometimes it's a lock (when site uses https), sometimes it's a key (when I can remember the password that I had typed in when loggin in).

But I think I haven't seen favicon for any site, any ideas?
