Why don't you take it easy and use Google Analytics? It would have be much easier to follow your web stats.

I checked and yes, Awstats seems to not be refreshing to 2 September but then does AwStats usually refresh from hour to hour? Maybe 24 to 36 hours? Have asked Chris to have a look at it.

In the meanwhile iG's suggestion is an excellent one.

I don't think that's going to happen. Our guy who cares about the analytics _loves_ AWStats & _detests_ Google Analytics: We left a host once cuz they had AWStats and then got rid of it. I've heard GA is better, but AW is what my guy likes, so that's what we'll be going with...

...assuming it comes back up.

btw, I went to 'Choose Log Programs' in cPanel (to make sure I couldn't do something myself), and it shows everything locked ('Stats program is locked out by administrator.')...but it's been working fine for more than a year with no problem...does this help?

Many thnx,

Well, I'm not really the person who uses it, but my experience has been every 3-4 hours at the most is the span between AWStats updates...

You can press the "Update now" link at the top of the AWStats page to force an update.

AWStats is a good complement to Google Analytics. With AWStats you can be sure to include all visitors in the stats. Google Analytics can be blocked by the visitors.

We did that Peter. AwStats seems to be stuck on 1 September even after using that update button. I wonder whether the reason that we've been upgraded could have something to do with it.
Just checked. Looks as though it has fixed itself now. Must have had something to do with the upgrade. :good:

Sorry, spoke to soon...seemed to be working, but then stopped...it's been several hours...

Funny, when I go to the page it says the last update was 14:49...if I click 'update now,' it switches to 16:36 but no numbers change...

...close the window, reopen AWStats, comes up at 14:49 again...

Please help!!

Thnx,

-CSense

You should consider to make posts for yourself not for someone. Then you will learn to post more frequently and earn more points.

It's the least you can do CSense. Since getting space you haven't made a single post in the forums, and you have made MASSIVE demand on our time and services through this support section. I consider the posts your opportunity of making good on all of the special considerations you have received, and there have been many of those. I've repeatedly asked you to make posts during your exhausting bandwidth discussions, and looks as though I've been pointedly ignored. Consider this a warning also that your continued demand for services without anything in return may affect our attentiveness with future requests.
