Form Submission: Webhosting Support Request

cPanel User Name: briar014
Name of Domain: bspforums.gi9.co
Detailed Description: Whilst using the same link as always suddenly I am unable to access the CPanel on a secure connection, see additional information for the warning page I am reaching.
Additional Information: I am getting this message:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from hero.gigadnsserver.com (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards).

Back to safetyHide advanced
You attempted to reach hero.gigadnsserver.com, but the server presented a certificate issued by an entity that is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may mean that the server has generated its own security credentials, which Chrome cannot rely on for identity information, or an attacker may be trying to intercept your communications.

Proceed to hero.gigadnsserver.com (unsafe)

@Briar. Which browser are you using?
Thanks for submitting the request Briar. Will ask Chris (DJB) or un4saken (Tech Admin) to check it out.

I get the same warning on Firefox & Google Chrome, no problem with the submission Buddy, I was a bit slow seeing the link for the form mind you but I got there in the end.

It's nothing to worry about, I'll sort it tomorrow. It's basically the ssl cert needs regenerating.

The message I get through Firefox is this:

hero.gigadnsserver.com:2083 uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

Hi Briar, I've just tried it myself. Using Firefox.

I used https://hero.gigadnsserver.com:2083/ after typing:

bspforums.gi9.co/cpanel.

Firefox then came with a connection security notice where one is given the option by Firefox to create an exception. Once an exception has been created the message didn't come up again.

So maybe the DNS still has to propagate, but it is secure.

I am trying to access my site and cannot get to it, the site wont resolve for me without using a proxy server, my site is here: bspforums.gi9.co

I can only access Gigarank through a Proxy server, have I been blocked from Gigarank as I cannot understand how my account being hacked could stop me getting here without a proxy server, or has my account been hacked.

Your IP might be banned due to many reasons. Your website shows on mine computer compeletely fine. Try to load your website with the TOR browser (but i think its like proxy anyway). I had the same problem when I locked my IP due to some cpanel theme.

Admins should look if your IP is banned, this might help.

Hi Briar. Can you mail your IP to me and I will unblock it for you. Sometimes when you access an account multiple times you will get blocked. Sorry you have to go through all of this. I'm sure it can be straightened out easily though.

Thank you for the helpful replies, goodness knows I was so worried I had upset someone here and had been banned, I am so very relieved it isn't that.

I have sent you my IP Genesis, thank you ever so much for looking into this for me.

Oh you are wonderful, yes everything is fine now, I am also able to access the CPanel as well, thank you ever so much Genesis, you are marvellous. :good:
