Free Website Hosting Services: What do you really get?

I'm interested in the free website hosting service you provide at Gigalicous which is why I joined this forum in the first place. After reading what's included in the free package, I still have a couple of questions on what you really get with a free website hosted here. Anyways my questions are:

  1. Are your FTP servers compatible with Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004?
  2. Will CuteNews work on your servers?

You see, I plan on using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 to make changes to my website so having FTP that works with my program is a must. I also plan on installing CuteNews: a PHP based program that allows you to post news on your site. So it would be great to know if both of these things are supported with your free website hosting plan.

Both are a yes, Ftp protocol does work with Dreamweaver and only PHP is required to run CuteNews. For what you need Gigalicous will be a perfect fit!

Awesome! I figured it would be after I looked at the list of things included, but I just wanted to make sure. Especially since the version of Dreamweaver I have is older (2004) and a lot of sites that provide FTP don't support it. I've actually found many web hosts (Awardspace for example) that have FTP but don't support Dreamweaver. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I never got Awardspace to work with Dreamweaver and I have got other web hosts to work with it.
