This is one of the scariest thing made by humans.
Imagine having robots like that to fight on wars.

If you look at how war has been faught in the past you see that the trend has been towards greater and greater distance between the killer and the target. Animals and humans before inventing tools had to fight with their bare bodies. People started to use sharp stones to throw or use as knifes. The stones was later attached to poles so that you could stab from a greater distance, it also made is easier to use as a throwing weapon. Later people invented crossbows and cannons which increased the distance even further. Then we were able to fly and started to drop bombs from the air at a safe distance. This has continued with more technically advanced systems for controlling missiles and drones.

I don't really believe that Robots could ever replace men in anything. They can perform some tasks, some of these tasks might be complicated, sophisticate and demand high skill level ... but in any men's action, especially in warfare, Robots is missing some very important features: will, desire, patriotism, ambition ...
These are all spiritual and intellectual features, which usually determine who will succeed and who will not.

Robots only can do more physical damage than men.

i I think robots will replace humans and have those features but humans may vote to reject these robots which has already happens. People have voted to ban robots from being used in war since it could be immensely powerful. 40% of people were afraid of driverless cars on the road even though they were better than human drives because they were so accurate and well made.

Even though people disagree with these ideas they still go forward and robots will probably sneak into society. Seems impossible for them to have emotion but you never know.

Eh, if robots replaced humans in war, wouldn't that mean less casualties in the long run? Of course there's always a chance of them malfunctioning and wrecking missions...

Less casualties would mean that companies and countries would mean that countries could go to war without having to worry about anyone dying basically they have an excuse to go to war. Syria is currently being bombed 24/7 with drones and jets because it is safe for the attackers to do so since none of their soldiers are being hurt. Also a lot of people may lose jobs because they are being replaced by robots.
