When I Google "free web space" at Google.nl, FWS isn't even on the first page, I guess due all the spam.

They have first page listings for me on google.co.uk for "free web space"

I still find people who "remember" FWS for checking up on hosts. FWS has been around for so long, it has become a legend of sorts. Until people look closer and they realize that it may not be as much of an authority on the really great hosting Websites as it used to be. Still, I like the system they use, as I remember when I first was looking for hosting space, I used the filters in the FWS Directory to sort on what I wanted the host to have.
