Hi Perry. Welcome back.

To be truthful, I don't think anyone can delete their own posts. I think at most a non-staff member can edit their own post within a certain time frame. As far as I know if someone wants their accounts removed they have to ask first. If there are no posts or very little posts in the account, I can go in immediately and remove the account in its entirety. I've done that for a few accounts already when requested in the past. Like some members who changed their minds after registration and asked to have their accounts removed. But for those with larger number of posts, we remove the name of the account only. We've had instances of also asking to remove identifiers - where we try our best. I'd think it would be impractical to allow users to remove their own posts in bulk, and you're right of course, if they were able to do that, they'd be able to evade a few things like a ban and also create serious damage in the process.
