As a gesture of goodwill Gigarank has increased the free hosting space of its existing members to 3GB disk space and 60,000 bandwidth. We realize this can't replace all of your hard work, but hopefully this could serve as some compensation for the damage that has been incurred.

For existing members with double everything space, the space has been increased to 6GB and 80,000 bandwidth.

Note: this is only applicable to hosting accounts that have been created before today. New free hosting accounts will revert back to 1GB disk space and 25,000 GB bandwidth and double everything to 2GB disk space and 50,000 GB bandwidth.

That is great news.
Well, my People has a saying ... something like " Thunder never strikes at the same place twice" ...so I hope that "almost impossible" server failures that you have encountered ... won't happen again in the future ...

I really wonder that too. Our main HDD and Backup HDD failed at the same time and datacentre replaced our electric connector. Looks like a some sort of short cirtcuit burnt our disks. We'll take necessery actions against this, however this will not bring back the data we lost.

Sorry to hear that, Let's hope things like this won't happen again. It will be really bad for business
I'm waiting to see the new forum theme again.

Seems logic.

Everything was gone drxgrey. Particularly the cpanel accounts. All of it has been fixed though. Un4saken spent a large number of hours fine tuning Gigarqank cpanel, and it's just about perfect now.

It is what it is. Great work guys. It is not uncommon for both hds to fail. If both are the same brand, bought and installed at the same time.

While that is great for the people with free accounts, what about the people who were paying customers? I lost all my sites, including my clients.
