Giga Namerver 2 not working

Detailed Description: Hi,

First of all, I would like to thank you very much for offering free hosting.

For the past few weeks, the loading time seem to be too high. Its takes more than 3 minutes for my wordpress blog to load even though I am using cache plugins.

It takes around 5 minutes for the wordpress "edit post" webpage to load completely. i.e. when I try to edit a blog post, it takes around 5 minutes for the page to load, then I edit it and after I press submit/update, it takes another 5 minutes for the post to update.

Even gigarank forum seems to load slow but not as slow as my website.

I'm 100% sure that the issue is not with my internet connection as other websites load properly.

I would be really grateful if you could help me with this issue. Thanks.
Additional Information: Not answered

Edit: Cpanel is not loading after login screen.

Thanks Penguin. When I checked your URL it downloaded just fine. cpanel log-in appeared in a flash. Not to minimize your support request, but logically if the problem is 100% on our end, if it is downloading as slow as you say it is surely we would have been inundated with complaints from every one?
Just did a loading test - maybe you could check it as well but the result I got was: 1.97 seconds

@Penguin. I did a further check and it may be a name server issue. If you do a check with a DNS tool it looks as though Name Server 2 is not resolving properly. Have you added any A records to the Name Servers? Can you check how you have configured your Name Servers?

Refer: http://www.dnsinspect.com/nextgendroid.com/1406714202

Thank you very much for this info. Yes I checked the A records and it had some other IP address and I have no idea why it happened.

I have updated the A records. Ill get back to you in another 24hours.

Thanks again.

I changed the ip address to the correct ip's in the A records and yet still nameserver 2 (ns2.gigadnsserver.com) does not seem to work.

Even when I ping (ns2.gigadnsserver.com) from my PC, there is no reply. I'm confused.

Your website loaded just fine for me and was reasonably fast too.

I also run a speed test, here is the result: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/bAK0OY/www.nextgendroid.com

Yes, thank you very much for the reply. It looks like a DNS issue.

OK Penguin. I'll ask DJB to check up on ns2.gigadnsserver.com. Thanks for the feedback.

I have a theory that the further away you are from the "hub" - meaning France where our server is located, the more the name server issue matters. Any inconsistency gets magnified the further you are from the "hub". I use a proxy with servers that are always in close proximity to the "hub". Maybe that is the reason the problem doesn't occur with me even when I'm resident in a country that is located relatively far from the "hub" and on top of it with wonky dynamic IPs. Just a theory, you may be more of an expert on this.

If there is something up with ns2.gigadnsserver.com, which the DNS inspect tool indicates there is, I'm sure DJB-Chris will sort it out.

Thanks for the reply. I have no idea about that hub theory, so ill read about it.

Also I did a DNS test for gigarocket.net and it shows that ns2 didn't respond in this case also, http://www.dnsinspect.com/gigarocket.net/1406801075. So I think that my domain isn't the only one having this issue and I wonder why no one else is facing this issue.

Thanks for everything. :drinks:

I`ve sorted it now, your website is loading lightening fast for me now.

We had a failed nameserver, which was resolving incorrectly. Should be all fixed now.

Hi, please check again ns2.gigadnsserver.com.
dnsinspect.com gives me this error: "FAIL: While quering domain's records, some of your name servers didn't responded. Name servers which didn't responded: udp4:94.23.121.115"

I have some wordpress and joomla sites, but they have big load time, even if they are light weighted and I enable cache.

We are aware on the issues on the second nameserver, we are looking into clustering our dns.

In light of ns2 failing at times, we`ve clustered the dns.

There`s also now ns3.gigadnsserver.com > 146.185.129.153
