I'm interested in building my Quality Posts count to apply for the Gigarank Free VPS Hosting offer, but I would also like to read the Terms and Conditions for the offer, which is linked to in the "Free VPS Hosting Applications (click here to apply)" forum description but not available for me to read (I'm guessing because since I do not have the 100 posts required to view the forum?).
Would it be possible to make this public or should I just ask here about what I'm looking for?
I'm particularly interested to know if there is a clause similar to the one in the called "Background Running Programs (bots/daemons/monitors)" in the Gigarank SHARED Hosting Terms and Conditions. I'm interested in running a low resource single connection irc client which would do nothing more than store a log of incoming messages to a specific channel (channel-owner approved), so an irc logging bot for a single humble irc channel, for daily, bi-weekly, or monthly data retrieval (accumulating to about 1 MB of data per week).
This would be on behalf (and with approval) of the channel owner, and within the terms of the host network, and will have been made known to current users as would be told to new users as well, for the purpose of generating feedback for the owner and developers, and historical data of unsavory users for operators.
Edit: If it's more appropriate for this thread to be in the "Gigarank Website Support" forum, it would be great if a moderator could move it there.
