Gigarocket and MySQL remote access

currently my dev-website is running on heroku and jawsDB.
So i can connect my backend to this db and via MySQL Workbench i can edit my data.
is this also possible with gigarocket free hosting?

Unfortunately Gigarocket stopped providing free hosting in December last year. But even if we had free hosting, I doubt you'd have been able to do any of what you describe. I think what is more suited for you is VPS hosting. I was part of a free VPS community for a long while until it closed its doors regretfully in October of last year. However if you Google far and wide, I'm sure you will find VPS Hosts who are looking for developers like you to promote their service. I think in particular of Evolution Host:

If you could provide an application of substance, including possibly a Website that you have developed yourself, you could succeed in getting a free VPS to do your development with.
