I thought they had already been integrated? Or is this more of the ad variety and Google is now trying to figure out where to put them on the page? Guess Twitter must be over the moon about this?

As far as I know it is still in experimental phase ...and it's been tested much more on mobile devices, but according to this article it is very near to be official.

Hmm, I've seen tweets in my search results for a while now, and it's been useful. It's nice that it looks like it'll show the whole tweets, instead of them getting cut off.

This is so 1999 and outdated. Twiiter is obsolete now. All its used for now is advertising spam and for hackers. Facebook keeps emailing me and telling me such and such is trending. Guess what, there is nothing in this world that is trending. Oh wait, they think because someone searches a word its trending. Not. Its all a ruse to get you to click a link. You click a link and someone makes money off if it. In other words, stop feeding the crocs.

Well, I don't see Twitter as obsolete. But spamming definitely yes. All part of SEO'ing. But just check through some of those Tweets when one is in Twitter, and it's a spam jungle. There are some good tweets though too. Hopefully Google will know the difference. Probably will lay on one of its algorithms again.

I really don't know how it would be look like on Google search expert level ...but I'm sure that Twitter is the one who will have to adjust to Google "rules", so there is gonna be serious changes on Twitter and the way you tweet to someone else twitter profile, that's for sure ...

Eh, I find Twitter good for news, and for seeing what people think about current topics. Spamming is definitely an issue though.
