Google has been update Mysterious Algorithm

This week my site have got increasing the traffic unusually likes previous week. When I check on algoroo site, they said if google has been update their algorithm. Is there anyone got this happen too ?

This happens. Google used to update once in 3 months but not anymore. Now they just do it randomly. Sometimes they announce and sometimes they don't.

You are right @"xdude" , My site is going unstable traffic right now. Sometime get on high but next day getting lower than previous days. For this two month, I've got many reported about deindexed sites with autoblog content. And now Bing has been following the google algorithm about mobilegeddon. Beside Im happy on that but get worried about it.

These days its not good relay on search engines. Sites I have good content and regularly updated get ranked and getting traffic so I just keep the process without bothering much about other things apart from a share those in social sites and quality black link blast time to time.

And for those sites with no so good content I just trying to get traffic for social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc. These days I'm totally busy with project related to this so not very active in forum.

We should never rely on Google search engine specifically. Even with good content, you might get hit with their algo changes. It's very unpredictable sometimes.

Social media traffic helps but nothing converts as well as targeted traffic from search engines,

Paid traffic, well...it's hard to master...

You're right @"fancy". At now google also giving the news over their official site when they want to update it.

Social media traffic does convert but you have to have a solid plan for that. Many think traffic you get from sharing/ repin/ retween would work but find it's doesn't.

You have to share these with right audience and also the content you share has to be creative enough to make people visit your url. Then your landing page has to be good enough to get a good conversion rato.

If get good result if you have all these factors. Even Yahoo Answers have very high conversion rato than Google or Social traffic.
