Google Tag Manager (GTM)

Anyone on here use Google Tag Manager (GTM) ?

I need to become very familiar with GTM as it's a tool regulary used at the company I work for. It's used for tracking visitor behaviour on websites. It can also be used to deploy code and scripts on webpages.

I am curious to know if it's better to deploy the Google Analytics tracking code via Google Tag Manager or just manually... I've noticed there are quite a few config options in Tag Manager for custom Analytics events... I was thinking this might simplify my configuration of Analytics because Tag Manager is designed for marketing employees (if I recall correctly), so, with all due respect, my assumption is that it must be more... shall we say... "fool proof"

I think that tag manager is a good extension of analytics
