Last Friday Google made an update for Google Pagerank.
The visitors I got to my proxy site went from +-20.000 to +-4000 a day!

WTF?!?

Did something like that happened to you as well?

Wow, surely that can't be right! I just hate it when someone has so much power. Sort of completely unrealistic for it to go so low. Yet at the same time, how can you change it? Looks like a page rank dictatorship to me. :aggressive:

Lately I read more and more about webmasters that use black hat SEO on their competitors, maybe that has happened.

I haven't seen any changes to the PageRank either, only to my traffic.

Have you studied your Google Analytics and checked where the traffic was coming from? Was it organic, referral or direct?
