I vote for this suggestion. Nothing beats high quality content, as it makes everything else happen by default. Genuine people are creating quality links. The more artificial the links are the greater likelihood that they will burn out at some or other point, or get penalized by Google when it discovers anything artificial.riddict said:Of course it helps a lot. But the most important thins is a high quality content.
Sitemaps only help Google to index your page, It doesn't have any relation with traffic.

Like I said, its the fastest way to index of post/pages. Everyday thousands of websites are set up, so its not easy for search engine to find each and every websites. Thats why Search engines like Google and Bing advice people to add sitemap to webmaster tool for faster recognizing. Your website must be good enough in SE's eyes that it is being indexed faster. One of my new website didn't get indexed for 3 days, but as soon as I added sitemap to google webmaster tool, most pages got indexed.

What If i copy your contents and google indexes my website faster than you ? It will be my contents in google's eye, not yours.
