Merry Christmas Misharnet! I hope that everyone here has a wonderful holiday season!
Random holiday-related question, recently I noticed that in the Harry Potter books and movies they always say "Happy Christmas" instead of "Merry Christmas". I mentioned it to someone and they said that using "happy" was probably just the standard Xmas greeting in the UK. Does anyone know if that's true or not? In the US we use "happy" for most holiday greetings (e.g. "Happy Birthday", "Happy Easter", "Happy Halloween") but for some reason use "Merry" for Christmas greetings only, which is kind of weird now that I think about it...
