Welcome to Gigarank Apple! Computer science, huh? Do they teach much about web development there? When I was in college a couple years back, I looked into computer science, but they only had one web-related course that was buried in prerequisites, so I went the interdisciplinary studies route and took all the web design & dev courses I could. Hopefully your computer science dept. is different, but even if it's not, it's great that you're motivated enough to look into making a site on your own!

That's what I thought too, but my college (and possibly others) only had one web-related course. Maybe because web programming is newer?
