I am a little bit late about introducing my self. It's been more then a weak since I joined this Forum community, but I think this is important step and also polite one, when you are new to somewhere.
I am a Web and Graphic designer and also WordPress developer. I am also an amateur musician (I play guitar) ...These are my passions too, Internet and Music.

If you are familiar with PHP at least at some basic level, it is no problem at all to learn WP developing. You don't have to create Extension from scratch, but you could learn quickly to change, add functions etc. If you are dealing with clients and I suppose you do, it is good to have some more services to offer, like setting up their WP installations etc ...
But I'm sure you're doing just fine with Bootstrap knowledge too,ha... it is an important part of modern Web Developing.

Well, if you think about Inter/WEB + Music Software, something like that demands Software Programming skills also. which are far beyond my skills and knowledge. On the other hand I am already WordPress developer so I create WP Extensions. Now maybe a Plugin or even WP Theme related to Music of any kind ...maybe I could do something like that, but only related to streaming or embedding ...but I don't have much experience related to Music or Video streaming, at least not as a developer.

If you really wanted to do something like that, you could do it. There are lots of courses you can take on the Internet.
