I was searching for free shared hosting on Google and saw this so I browsed around to see if it's to my liking or not. I've tried other sites but they weren't what I was expecting. I hope it's different for this one.

Found this site through a "free cpanel hosting " good ol' google search. Looks promising as im trying to make a website for my plumbing company that has just started and we could use a page on the web, hope things go well!

I found Gigarocket while trying to find a temporary free hosting service so I can create a MMORPG I have great ideas for. Wanted hosting while I build the game step by step before I move it onto a proper hosting service. What Gigarocket offers is perfect for my starter project!
Unfortunately no games are allowed in website building at Gigarocket. If you had read the TOS in the shared hosting application you'd have noticed that no games are allowed on hosting accounts. The owner of Gigarocket provides hosting primarily for young up and coming entrepreneurs to build Websites for business purposes. Reason being that games attract an audience that usually lends itself to big spikes in traffic and requires more admin input as well as additional resources for hardening of the server making it more costly than the owner wants to commit himself to. Ours is a very simple shared hosting service with cpanel hosting. You may find the hosting limited for the objective you're working towards.Mitchellgled said:

I was in search for "free cpanel" hosting sites. Your site was recommended on one of them. Mentioning that you provide cpanel is probably helping reach in the "more knowledgeable" market group.

I was googling 'freewebhost uptime' and saw gigarocket in a comparison. I have tried to use the byet nameservers under a different host and their control panel was usually offline, so since their alternate name also has that problem I skipped trialing them.
found the site through google when looking for a web host to develop a autism and intelectual disability information website on.
was about to pass on gigalicious after finding out it required x amount of posts on the forum before being able to apply because had always assumed this meant something dodgy,but had luckily come across a post on the forum yesterday which explained exactly why this now common concept happens;eg, to stop spam bots and just general trouble,that makes a lot of sense.
am not able to work and dont have the money to do anything so am stuck at home all day and have nothing to do other than foruming, regardless of the point that drives everyone here originaly, am adding this forum to bookmarks as its a friendly community even though its still pretty new.

I was in search of a free web hosting that allows free ssl. Glad to see that Gigarocket provides this. Others do no allow free ssl on their free hosting. Let me give Giga a try
