My Let's Encrypt certifictate for bbmap.tk and www.bbmap.tk is about to expire, so I'd like to renew it.

How do I renew a Let's Encrypt certificate? The cPanel Let's Encrypt function does not give me any option to renew the certificate,

I tried uninstalling the certificate from the SSL/TLS - Manage SSL sites cPanel link, as the link you gave me suggested.

I then went back into Let's Encrypt and tried to create a new certificate. I'm getting this error:

Error occurred: Status: invalid, Detail: , Type: http-01

Are you using cloudflare with your domain? If so, please disable it completely and try to install the ssl cert again.

No, I'm not using Cloudflare.

I've uninstalled the Let's Encrypt certificate from the Manage SSL Sites page.

I've also removed the Let's Encrypt certificate from the Generate, view, upload, or delete SSL certificates page.

I've logged out from cPanel, logged back in and tried again.

I'm still getting the same error.

Hello,

Certificate has been installed. It was giving errors because of your .htaccess file in your public_html folder. I temporarily disabled it and installed ssl cert, then enabled it back.

Thanks for helping, but I've decided to give up on Let's Encrypt. It's just not worth the hassle.

The first time I installed a Let's Encrypt certificate, I couldn't do it through cPanel; I needed a request to an admin to manually install it.

Some time later, the certificate stopped working. I had to go into cPanel and re-install the certificate in my site.

I couldn't renew the certificate through cPanel, apparently due to some undisclosed issue with my .htaccess file.

The certificate worked when you installed it. However, it was installed on all my domains, instead of just on my test domain, bbmap.tk. I didn't want it on my main domain, and couldn't figure out how to only have it apply to my test domain, so I've deleted the certificate and will operate without it.
