How to make money online

I have have explored the internet for years and with that experience, I have come up with a list of 3 best ways to make little to big income online.

3.Crowdsourcing Marketplace
What is this?
This is where lawyers, writers, bloggers, etc. source help from the wide internet community for tasks that would normally cost them enormous time to complete (which they don't really have). E.g. proofreading tens of thousands of words. Taking part usually comes with a cash reward.

How much can you make?
You can make good money, but it all depends on the type of task, difficulty, workload, etc. You can make up to $72.99 for a single task on Amazon Mechanical Turk as I am typing this.

Amazon Mechanical Turk (www.mturk.com/) is the most popular, however it's only for US residents.
Other alternatives:
Crowdflower
Clickworker
Microtask
Prolific Academics

2. Affiliate Marketing
What is this?
Websites and businesses give cash rewards for bringing them new costumers and percentage when you sell their product.

How much can you make?
You can make as much $100 or more on a transaction as of when this article was written. It all depends on the type of transaction, however the chances are that you won't make up to that much unless you're prepared to sell expensive products.

You are interested? How do you get involved?
All you need to know: www.abestweb.com and www.wickedfire.com

1. YouTube
Not much explanation needed.
However Google rewards you for uploading videos on their video platform YouTube if you become a partner. You also need to an AdSense account.

How much can you make?
You can make a lot of money, but it all depends on the popularity of your videos and your channel. You can make from tens of thousands of dollars to hundreds of thousand.

Youtube is the easier way to earn money, just 'set and forget'.
But niche blog with PPC like Adsense is legit. Of course, with hardwork.

How do you get started with theses things?

Like youtube? How much can you make with 10 videos getting 10 views a day? How do you receive the money from this?

You can make alot of money from seo, ranking websites in the top 10 , so it's very easy definetly to make money with it

Can you explain this a little more? I've heard of seo, but how does it make you money? Do you need to pay for the SEO or is there a free way?

If you want to get started in affiliate marketing there are some successful sites you might want to check out.

SBI - SiteBuildIt -
They do the full site seo type thing, but their approach to it is very thorough, but also very effective if you follow through.

Affiliorama -
They do affiliate marketing, and their tools are supposedly top notch. They made 'Traffic Travis' - a good seo/keyword tool.

Wealthy Affiliate -
Is very straight forward and you make a website around a niche and do seo, and other things to get traffic. Highly rated. Do your own homework on keyword research though. You'll get different data from their 'Jaaxy' Keyword tool.

Stack That Money Forum -
Highly rated from advanced affiliate marketers. It will cost you approx. $100 per month. Only serious marketers should apply.

Clickbank affiliates - One of the most ethical ways to make money online(If you promote a good product everyone needs). But also one of the hardest to master.

And then there is the ROOT of all make money on the web, 'Product Creation', which I've read should be everyone's priority if they really want to succeed online.

Adsense never worked for me tbh. All I was able to generate few cents per day. It's not an easy job to earn from Adsense. It definitely needs lot of keyword and niche research work.

Youtube and Slot Advertising are better ways.

With affiliate marketing, you have your own site and drive traffic to it. You register as an affiliate with some company like Amazon, and display a banner that displays ads from Amazon on your site. If someone clicks a link from your site, Amazon registers that the inbound link came from you, and if they buy a product (or maybe only the product they originally clicked on? I'm not sure) you get a commission.

Basically yes, it is a referral program.

Someone from our Community (loglive) has a successful domain affiliate Website. The success for me is in the domain model Website he found. Everything was there for him. I tried out a few domains at rock bottom prices during a special promotion of his two years ago and am still with him. The renewal of the domains on average is about the same as Namecheap. I haven't purchased new domains in a while, but looks like a good business to have as a side to something else.

This is his domain:

No, it doesn't count as a conversion (Sale or Action taken). But that's how you start to measure the effectiveness of your content in the form of (ad, article, optin, video).

You'll know if you got the sale if you track your campaigns.

Here is a good inexpensive ad tracker with excellent features, even conversion tracking.
HitsConnect
It's only $4.95 for pro which lets you track your conversions.

@"jaran" No, you only get paid if they buy. There used to be programs that would pay you for traffic directed from your site. That would be more of a marketing network than a referral program.

I'm not going to be doing marketing networks at first, because of the nature of my site. I'm in the fishing category, and down here it's a huge niche that people spend money on.

I've personally spent probably $2k in the last 12 months on fishing, and I'm cheap! Some people have well over $100k invested in fishing.

So do I want the $0.10 for a click, or a commission on a $500 sale? It's a no brainer for me.
.
Note: Out of that $2k, about half of it is the boat. Bought her for $600, put about another $200 in it, and about another $200 I'm about to order. The rest was rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fuel spent hunting spots. I haven't paid to go out on a boat yet, that runs anywhere from $100-$200 / day - and I fish every chance I get. I do want to go out on the $99 budget boat though, so I can get out in waters my boat won't handle.

Cool thing about Amazon affiliate program is you earn a commission from everything person who click through buy. Okey there are few items which Amazon doesn't pay at all but rest they do. Commission is different on items. For example for consumer electronics you get paid only a 4% flat commission. For laptops and computers you get only $25 max per product.

Also they have different programs for different countries. You have to sign up separate for each if you want to use all. Some policies are different too. For example Amazon.co.uk pay only 7 or 8 pounds mac no matter the price visitor buy. If someone buys a 10,000 pounds TV you still get only a 8 pounds as commission.

Ebay used to be a fun way to make money online, and perhaps still is for some, but several years ago they changed CEOs and everything changed. Many sellers have left Ebay and so did I.

Marketing online is not easy, but with the right tools it can be done. Now there are resources available to make building landing pages easier. There are email generators to help with making an email list. So nowdays it should not be so scary with the thought of making a website or blog. These things do cost money, but it takes money to make money.

Then there are other ways of making money online, such as the stock market. But you must know the market well. It's exciting though to buy a stock cheap and then see the price go up, sometimes way up. I've dabbled in stock a little, made some and lost some.

Some people sell livestock or domestic animals online and some do pretty good. The better quality the animals are the better the return is.

Offering online secretarial work is still another way. I'd like to be in my lounging gown at home and do online typing.

Hi,

I want to add about Adsense. It provides some risk for webdesigner. Because Google can block your account without any clear explanations. It happened for me =)
But I don't want to say do not use it. I just want to say that you should be pretty accurate with your sites and incoming traffic.

Honestly, where else can you find an Ebay-alternative that is as big/good as them? If you're selling handmade stuff, Etsy might be great but other than that...

Actually, even if the visitor didn't buy but landed at Amazon, you might still get a sale down the road if they decide to revisit and buy stuff. This depends on the Amazon cookie lifespan. If it's 24hrs, that means when they decide to come back and buy within 24 hrs, u are still entitled to commission.

Some affiliate programs offer much longer cookie lifespans.

I was try cpalead with their banner ads but never get lead even alot visitor clicking the ads. I didnt use content locker tool. I think its so hard to get money with this method. I would compare it because they're not CPM bases. I've got 5 - 10 dollar per day using propellerads only from banner ads.

If you just want to make a few extra bucks for pocket change, try Perk.com. I am using Perk, but I am not posting my affiliate link here, as I do not want to abuse my posting privileges here.

I use Perk TV on Android. I make about $3 a day just letting videos play on my cell phones. Every once in a while I have to click "Yes, I am still watching", but for the most part it does all the work. You may have to be concerned about bandwidth. Be sure to change the settings for Low Bandwidth. You can also use the Perk Unlock Screen, but it requires that you sit there and actively do things with your phone in order to earn points. But if you have the time you can earn an extra $1 - $25 a day. I chose to order a Discover card from Perk called Perk Plastic. It allows me to immediately convert 1100 points into $1, 2200 points into $2, and 5500 points into $5, up to $25 a day. You can also use your points for other rewards, like Pay Pal, Wal-Mart GIft cards, Target gift cards, and other choices. I usually just let the Perk TV play all the time on 5 devices, and, when I think about it, I ensure that the videos are still playing. I make anywhere from $3 - $4 a day like that. I use the money to pay my Internet bill and buy a few items at the grocery that I end up needing throughout the week.

I also use Swagbucks.com, inboxdollars.com, and sendearngings.com. With all four programs I make an extra $200 to $250 a month in my spare time.
