Hello thank you for taking the time to read this post. First of all I woild like to start off saying that I already have a blog on wordpress.com. And that the reason why I want to take part in this free hosting is because I want to write, sell and publish my own book. I will publish different types of books but the main one is going to be about what happen when my life changed when I was only ten years old.

In December 2009 I was diagnosed with AML Lukiemia and ever since that day my life has changed. My grandma died in 2010 near the end of my treatments and later in that year my great uncle and his wife died a few days after he was buried, in a car crash. by 2012 my other great aunt had died of cancer and in 2013 my other great aunt's husband died. Both my great uncle (2013) and great aunt (2012) died of cancer. And now that I look back on it I want to change someone elses life. And show how to deal with being a cancer paitent can change your life.

I would gladly appreciate your consideration to accept my request to the free hosting and of course in accordance to your 10 post requirment. Wow - that really makes my problems seem insignificant. Good luck with the writing!

Make some posts in the forums where it counts your posts to get the required post count, and then there's a section to make the hosting request. They get your site going pretty quickly - I think it took mine a couple of days.

The hosting here is pretty good - nothing short of extraordinary for a free host - they're better than most paid hosting companies ..

Glad you found us. I'm sorry about your losses, though I'm glad you're using what you've learned to help others. That's a very kind thing to do. This community is very friendly, and if you need any help, feel free to ask! Hopefully my reply to your PM cleared some things up.

Can you just use the subdomain? I'm still confused....I read that thread genisus (sorry if I missed spelled), where do I post to make sure the posts count? Thanks

The meet and greet forum posts do not count. Post in the regular forums - like Websites and Graphics Design, or Computers ...

Hi JDC and everyone. I'm new here too and trying to learn how things work. I too am a cancer survivor, of breast cancer diagnosed 10 years ago. My goal is to promote a meditation technique which encourages positive thinking started long ago by Jose Silva, now deceased but his daughter, Laura, continues the teaching of it.

Don't give up hope, JDC, for the mind is very powerful medicine, combined with good nutrition and other treatments. I've started a blog about the Silva Method, still on wordpad. There is nothing hocus-pocus about the powers of the mind when they are used for the good of mankind. Instead these powers of the mind are our God-given ability to learn and realize them. :smile:
