I miss the old myspace. It had so many cool options until its recent changes. It told you who visited you that day. You could find random groups for anything. Like minded friends were easy to find.
Mee too. I was joined since 2009 on there. I usually listening my favorite music. On 2011 I've tried their API Dev to develop my site. Their service is so cool. I dislike since they changed their platform until they closed the service last year. Now Im going to Tumblr.
I must say I did rather enjoy the old MySpace, it was a great opportunity to hang out with new and very interesting bands, I made many online friends there. There was also the opportunity of meeting like minded folk who were easy going and great fun to chat with.
It really fell to pieces are it was sold off, rotten shame as nothing has come along to replace it that even comes close, absolute rotten shame that.
Don't mind guys but don't you think MySpace is kinda old place? People doesn't like to be active there because it has become an old social platform. I am afraid but I feel it may last for 2 or 3 more years only.
I remember Myspace but never got used to it. Those days I used the site called Hi5 more. I think mypace was sold for another company by it's creators for around 350 million usd at it's peak.
I never really got the chance to use Myspace because I had an overprotective mom that was afraid I'd turn into a scene kid or something, but I really wished I could have gotten into it back in its hayday.

Myspace seems to be making a comeback lately. Its traffic stats look solid and it's more of a social music sharing site now. U can personalize your profile with your own stuff. The frontpage looks interesting enough to continue browsing. However, the spam is quite heavy there, doesn't seem to be enough people policing or attention put to it.
I remember when it was first started. I miss those days. Then I left due to better websites that were coming out. I just don't like that it is mostly a band site now. I have not been on there for years. I am mostly a facebook user now. It takes care of a lot of my needs. Though I am more excited to get a actual website up for my stuff.
Every trend has an end...Facebook sure has lost a lot of younger users in the past couple of years due to newer social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter. Good thing the Facebook company is extending into other social media such as snapchat. However, I wonder if this massive company's main site could ever come to an end.
Myspace nowadays just seems to keep getting bought and then sold to other companies other and other again. It was bought by Time inc on Feb 11 this year!. The website has been owned by som many different companies that it almost looks like a lost cause. But I guess there is money still in it since it is worth $100 million dollars still.
Myspace was used for band related material for me, but it was soooo user friendly. And they actually cared about letting their users express themselves, which ironically was a part of their downfall. I liked Myspace way more than Facebook because it wasn't a "scheme" like the book of faces.
Oh the good old Myspace days... I wish they would have just expanded the old Style Look/Feature Set with Social Messaging/Tweeting. It was so simple and solid and a great way to spread music.
i used to use myspace all the time then people went to facebook for 10 years now there on twitter n intgram and other small ones.
