Does a dedicated IP help with SEO?

I think that it used to help, but no longer does.

No, it has nothing to do with the IP. They use the domain name as an IP can change.

A dedicated IP doesn't help with SEO,a dedicated IP it's only a (possible) better preformance to your site,because you are the only that uses that IP,so other websites can't affect your site preformance.
So,no,if you are starting a webpage for SEO,don't use a dedicated IP until you get a lot of users
