At first I want to say that This Guide has been written by me, all rights and copyright reserved. Copying, sharing is prohibited without my written premission, stealing will be classed as the offence and police will be notified about this accident. Guide line written for the Gigalicous.

5 Steps to ensure that my Blog is safe and secure

This is one of the big issues for the beginners, because with that hackers can easily hack your account, so you need to change the user name, or for have a 100% sure make a new user and give the admin powers, and delete the existing one. Because if you have an admin user name, it will be easy for the hacker to hack you account, because he only has to guess your password, but then he will have to guess your admin login + the password, which will be a little bit hard.

2. Use a very strong password.

Make sure that your account is secured with the very strong password which will contain a upper case, lower case letters and the numbers and symbols, which means that the hacker will struggle to crack your password and get into your account, however he could crack it, but I will take lots of the time. If you want to make your password stronger and better, go to your profile settings and change the password to the very strong one.

3. Always have your WordPress up to date.4. Always make a backup of your blog.5. Limit login attempts with a Plugin.

I'm very worried about Word Press security. Particularly since it's a gateway to creating major server damage. So if I do come across any literature I read it from end to end. We're very lucky at Gigalicous however, as we've got our own secret weapon. Un4saken. Would have to be someone really hell bent on destroying any one here to get past Un4saken's expertise. Not only his expertise, but he has a sixth sense about Websites that I don't think any list of tips could ever equal.

He's totally tuned into the server, and around all of the time. His focus is intense, like laser beams. If anything looks even a degree out of place he notices it from the logs.

Most of those tips I have known for some time.

I almost never use admin and always generate a password with 10 or more characters.
