What Java frameworks have you used and and what benifits, drawbacks did you come across?

I've recently used Google web kit (GWT) and found it quite easy to work with seeing as though I've done a bit of Android Java development before.Its nice to not have to worry about javascript as its not something Im an expert in.
I've touched on a bit of Spring framework but the shere size of it is a bit daunting. Its quite a popular framework so I'll continue doing reseach on it.
Im currently trying to focus on enterprise web development technologies using Java and common frameworks and would like some advice from people with real world experience.
