Is your WordPress Website through softaculous or did you upload it via Filezilla or File Manager? There are a few Jetpack plugins - is it the main one?

I used Softaculous. I think I will remove the jetpack plugin and try to reinstall again.

I've just checked with a WordPress Website of mine and there was no problem with installing the main Jetpack plugin.

Probably good to remove it and then try to reinstall it.

PS: I'm beginning to get highly irritated with WordPress continuously blaming everything on the Web hosts.

Did you try disabling all plugins besides Jetpack and trying again? When I had this problem, it turned out that my coming soon page plugin was affecting Jetpack. Once the site itself was finished, as soon as I took it out of coming soon mode everything worked fine.

Yup. it did work after reinstalling. Thanks for support guys.

@Genesis : I think that plugin is getting too complex and even they can't do the error handling properly.

I think Jetpack plugin is too overrated. It seems to use a lot of resources and perhaps is not the right choice for a shared hosting account.

I get it that maybe at one point JetPack was very useful to have but with new plugins and themes it isn't necessary to have it any longer. I get it however that maybe those who had found it a life saver up to a couple or more years ago, like around 2012/2013 that they still believe in the plugin. Like something one is used to with WordPress and feel comfortable to have around.
