Sony has great laptops, but I prefer my Toshiba Ultra Notebook that I purchased last year, and still has top specs for today. Probably one of the best buys I've done as a special deal from one of our retail stores. It's specs are of course not touching your Sony, but for what I need it for, it's just the ticket.

Wow that looks great! I've always wanted a ultrabook but have always settled for the good old laptop.

I decided to do a list like Genesis because it looked so well done :) Anyways, I have:

Dell Inspiron 15R (5537)

Here's a pic:

I recently bought this PC from OfficeMax for around $640ish as a birthday/Christmas present for myself since I needed a new laptop with bigger specs than my previous MacBook. I had a MacBook before which had only 2GB of RAM and 250GB of Hard Drive. As you can see, I pretty much quadrupled my specs :D So far, I'm loving this computer. It's fast and does what I need it to do :)

Did it come installed with Windows 7, or did you load Windows 7 yourself? Awesome specs!

Ah right. I forgot about your uncle. The one who could get you free software as well. Pretty awesome.

Hmmm, our PC is a disaster zone, I'd list it spec's but I'm not sure if everyone is seated safely, falling whilst laughing heartily tends to end in tears. :)

I'll contribute with a little light humour instead, here's my PC's spec's...

Hi
I have a rather low range PC for programming and occasional gaming.
Intel Core i3-3220
AMD Radeon HD 6670 DDR5
4 GB Corsair DDR3 Ram (1600 Mhz)
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3
Corsair 450W PSU
A 500 GB HDD
Thats about it. I use a 1366x768 monitor, so all these resources are more than enough for simple gaming.

My laptop is an Acer Aspire with Intel Core i3-370M 2.4 GHz processor, 15.6 inch HD LED LCD screen, 4 GB memory, 450 GB hard drive. It's fast for daily use and designing a web site, the only issue I have had is the audio and the speakers have gone bad. I have had to hook up an aux cable to a stereo system to get sound, which I prefer because laptop speakers usually are pretty bad at sound quality.

I am using a desktop.:yahoo:

My spec:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor
Intel Mother Board DG35EC
4 GB DDR2 Ram
1x 250 GB Seagate HDD Primary
2x 1TB Seagate HDD Secondary
Nvidia GTX 560 Ti
Creative 5.1 Home theater Setup
