low memory webcam software

I'm building a cheap pc for a family member to use as a way to communicate with us while they're away, as it's a cheap pc it only has 4 GB ram in it, does anyone know the best webcam software that uses the least CPU & ram?
i use many cam & you cam - but this machine im building wont run those too well

Try Google Hangouts? Video only works for people with gmail, but it's no different than having to have an account with wherever else. Also has android and iSuck apps.
